#ImproveProjectReadingCampaign

Some of our partners have started the campaign to promote reading in schools due to International Book Day, which takes place on April 23rd. This activity is part of the Improve project co-financed by the Erasmus+ program.

The partners are disseminating the results of the actions carried out so far, such as the manual of good practices and the multimedia toolbox to increase reading habits.

Also, since March, some schools are participating in the #ImproveProjectReadingCampaign campaign where high school students from different high schools are publishing reviews of their reading. To encourage participation, the most creative post on social media will be rewarded with a gift. In addition, students will have to use the campaign hashtag #ImproveProjectReadingCampaign.

The partners have approached the schools to talk about the project and have brought different types of material that they have been producing (posters and brochures) to be placed on the school bulletin board, in hallways, or in classrooms to promote reading culture in the centers.

It is intended that this type of campaign is carried out every year by the different secondary schools at the European level to give visibility to books, and authors and foster an environment that encourages reading in the classroom and at home.
